Some successes with this 2014-2016… Asked the internet ether for images of different spaces and places by getting volunteers to photograph directly downwards, ground wards. Most emails to random people in far flung parts of the globe using google translate must have looked like spam, and likely ended up in the digital junk as quickly as it arrived.
Despite a low return count, did get some interesting images from those who took the time to read my brief request. The rabbit(?) droppings were oddly neat, but I found the one of a roadside in Afghanistan with military tyre tracks, and shoes without tread or heels fascinating …should have explored this project a bit more -some rich narratives here methinks.
